Story-Line: Anbarasi, an innocent village girl, dreams of making a name for herself in the field of sports but faces numerous obstacles. Will she manage to tackle the hurdles and fulfil her dream? Kanaa is a story of a woman (Dharshana Ashokan) who aspires to be an athlete and is highly talented but, her parents want her to be a homely girl and arrange a marriage for her without her consent. She elopes from her house and participates in a 400 m running race and wins the race. Kanna's parents are not happy with her activity and take her back to their home. The male lead (Vishnu Unnikrishnan ) is an athletic coach who tries to help her with her dreams.What happens when both fall for each other and how will she manage to accomplish her dreams is the plot of the daily soap Kanaa.
